The orientations will be 1PM starting Monday, and turn-ins will be at 2PM to make the most use of the slowest part of the day and accelerate processing. If this new schedule succeeds in its objective, turn-around time for pay will be reduced.
Witnesses (Updated May 19)
For those who have traveled and require a witness, send witnesses to Employment Plus to get on payroll. Pay is $8/hr. Overtime is authorized. Any bonuses for witnesses helping you get signatures is your own discretion and expense and should paid directly to your witness. You are expected to collect at a minimum 10 pairs of signatures per hour on Taxes and Bridges.
You may not use your witnesses to drive you around, as that creates undue liability exposure for Employment Plus. Furthermore, any change of venue during the course of the day that requires a trip by bus or car is a separate job assignment, a legal, semantic distinction the agency needs us to use when talking to the temps. If a temps opts to not do the new assignment/new location, the agency will immediately send someone else to meet you there. Continuous walking around or walking to the other location is completely okay.

Union Rights Petition is Over Effective Immediately
We need all signatures on Union Rights submitted by Wednesday at 3PM. The issue benefited from a massive volunteer organization and has enough signatures to make the ballot.
